Local Air Quality

Continuous Monitoring Stations
Reading Council has a number of continuous monitoring stations which measure in real time the levels of different pollutants at a variety of places across the Borough. As well as this we also operate a substantial non-automatic network across the borough looking at Carbon monoxide, Nitrogen dioxide, Nitric oxide, oxides of Nitrogen, ozone, P10 particulates and Sulphur dioxide

Currently there are  4 sites
Kings Road (outside Wyeclife Church on the pavement)
Newtown (In the Green Shed in the centre of the Cemetery at Cemetery Junction)
Oxford Road
Caversham Road
